MXLink Live speaks with Larissa Papenmeier and Caitlin Wood on their racing careers which appear in articles in first Issue of Women in Motorsport Magazine. Larissa has raced FIM Women Motocross World Championship for number of years now, finishing 3rd position Overall in 2020.
Larissa is the most humble, female racer on the dirt track, but also delivers plenty of competitive spirit against the best Women MX riders in the world, winning Race 2 at Valkenswaard and taking the Overall win at Mantova, Round 3, 2020. Equally passionate about supporting younger riders to race the discipline, Lare has formed her own Team Yamaha Racing #423.
Caitlin Wood embarked on remarkable journey to pursue racing career, leaving homeland of Australia in 2016 to join Germany’s Reiter Engineering. Caitlin raced in GT4, then GT3 Championship Series, before furthering her racing opportunities in the UK.
By the end of 2018, Caitlin gained selection for the first edition of Formula 3 WSeries, racing 5 Rounds against 18 selected women drivers. Mostly known for Caitlin’s bubbly, positive personality, the Aussie-Brit formed her own working role as driver instructor, slotted within racing schedules.
MXLink Live Chat with Larissa and Caitlin on February 24th at 9.00am (NZ time), which is February 23rd in Germany and UK, at 8.00pm and 7.00pm in Britain.
