In what is described as the toughest sand race on the MXGP circuit, NZ’s Josiah Natzke made career history nailing 6-3 to take 4th Overall in Round 7 of MX Euro EMX 125cc Championship.

Natzke’s fierce determination to gain wanted speed and rhythm on the knarly sand terrain of Lommel proved his ability to set goals from ‘struggling to get up to pace when I arrived in April’ to hammering out consistent momentum against his class peers.

Natzke’s performance closes his standings to one point from the Overall Championship leader, team-mate Jorge Prado with it coming down to the Final Round at Assen, Netherlands August 30th.

Not since Josh Coppins and Ben Townley achieved European Motocross success 10 years ago has NZ witnessed such remarkable talent matching the World’s best which makes Josiah’s results so special for his future MX career and for NZ Motocross in general.
