Dylan Walsh speaks up front on debut MX2 Practice and Qualifying, with 23rd gate pick in Race 1 mid-day Sunday and Race 2- 3 hours later.

# 53: Dylan: ‘Practice and Qualifying didn’t go to plan. I started to set the bike up for this track and was running well in the Qualifying race in 10th but then made a little mistake and crashed’.

With Free Practice, Timed Practice and Qualifying Race taking edge off nerves, this class is loaded with World-class talent. Stats: 32 Riders on gate from 19 Nationalities, across 4 Continents.

In what will be an all out battle of young blood, vying for points/podiums/results MX2 class will certainly be eagerly watched by fans as Riders deal with varying track surfaces, venues and uncertainties of racing one of the toughest MX classes in the world.

No more so than at MXGP/MX2 Opening Round at Pategonia, Argentina with volcanic ash soil to deal with, making bike set-up crucial for racing.

# 53:  ‘This place is amazing and fans are really awesome but I’m struggling with the track. I’ve never raced on soil like this before so it’s hard to set the bike up’.

Not one to back-down from what lies ahead, Dylan eyes his sight on tomorrow R1 and R2. (Monday NZ time).

# 53: ‘Tomorrow’s focus is to get two good starts and ride my own race’.
