AMA SX250 East Triple Crown at Indianapolis Highlights.

With Davies holding the Red Plate on 64 points followed by Seth Hammaker on 63, Pierce Brown and Jo Shimoda tied on 62, the up-coming 7 Rounds – including 250 E/W showdowns at Birmingham, St Louis, and the Final Round at Salt Lake City – will be unreal to watch and predict the results. Breaking down the stats at Indy, Davies dominated all 3 races with best lap-times of: 44.107 in R1, 45.951 in R2, and 45.818 in R3. The kiwi’s best lap times were made in Lap 3 in all 3 races, making up 2 positions from 3rd at the hole-shot to 1st in R1 and R2, and completing 9 passes in R3 from 10th at the first turn to 1st by Lap 4.

Standing 2nd overall in SX250 East Championship – Seth Hammaker had built plenty of momentum coming into Indy after finishing 4th at Arlington and taking the win at Daytona Beach one week ago. 3 gate-drops resulted in 3 different results with Hammaker making up 4 positions from 7th at the hole-shot to 3rd at the chequered in R1, losing 3 positions from 6th at the first turn to 9th at the finish in R2, and firing up the adrenalin from 11th at the hole-shot to 2nd in R3.
