NZ’s feat in Formula One Monaco GP in 1967 with Denny Hulme winning, Chris Amon taking 3rd and Bruce McLaren rounding out tri-peat of kiwi success in 4th. The circuit was 3.145kms with Hulme completing 100 laps in Brabham BT20 racing car, Amon racing Ferrari’s 312, and McLaren in McLaren BRM. The fastest lap had been set by Jim Clark of 1:29.6 seconds. Heading into F1 Monaco GP 2025 this weekend, the circuit is now 3.337kms with driver’s completing 78 laps. The fastest lap time has been set by Lewis Hamilton of 1:12.909.
